BLAIR ASSOCIATES has evolved over the years, now the firm is a consulting business in a wide variety of areas supporting business and individuals in innovation and creative solutions. 

Tom Blair with over 40 years of experience in executive management, building and construction, architecture, project and facilities management of highly bespoke projects as well as an educator and facilitator, Tom uses creativity and team collaboration in a way few leaders can provide. His enthusiasm to continue to learn, explore, and develop is infections.

In business he has successfully obtained major contracts internationally working in the USA, Australia, UAE, Qatar, Korea and the PRC. His understanding of cultural diversity grew from these experiences and he applies these through his Organizational Zoo activities as well as strategic planning for companies. 

As an educator he was a Senior Educator at RMIT University where he designed and developed a program for Metricon Homes resulting in real business improvements and received numerous awards including the Victorian Training Award for Industry Collaboration. 

Tom is a hand’s on master builder and currently building a home in Heathmont, Victoria. He is not an academic and takes theory and puts it into real innovative practice. Over the past five years he has been teaching trades, site managers, and others in the design and building industry how to improve their abilities both in hard skills as well as soft skills.  

He is the first California Architect to become a registered Architect in Victoria. Has a Masters in Project Management from RMIT University, a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Southern California, a Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) from Swinburne University, and various other qualifications including a TAE. 

Suzanne Blair joined BLAIR ASSOCIATES in 2006 and has been the interior designer of many of the high end custom homes that the firm has designed and built. She is also a noted educator in design and has a unique background in arts and crafts of all kinds. This varied training and background gives her a special qualification in interior design that is rare, she is hands on and a project manager on many projects.

Suzanne holds a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Crafts from Melbourne University and has a TAE.
